Paul Harris was a lifelong music lover and a photographer in the music business from 1977, citing that his musical photography started seriously with the “Sun Sound Show” at London’s Rainbow Theatre in April 1977. His archives include a large collection of pictures available for publication. He travelled far and wide over the years to capture these images including his home country; the UK, Italy, Louisiana & New Orleans, New York, Netherlands and Belgium. Paul’s favourite artist from a very young age was Fats Domino, someone he went on to interview and take many photographs of on stage. The archives include photographs of Fats Domino taken between 1978 and 1999, plus shots of his houses in New Orleans (both before and after Hurricane Katrina), together with various Fats-related material (car, statue, etc.). Paul’s archives include a range of genres; 'Rock 'n' Roll and Rockabilly', 'Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Soul, and Gospel', 'Country', 'Cajun, Zydeco and Swamp Pop' and 'Miscellaneous'. They have been published in many music magazines, books and CDs. covers, most notably in the “Harris Hotshots” section of Now Dig This magazine. Paul left this world on 12th April 2021 following a prolonged illness, sadly leaving his wife, son, nephew, family and friends.
